B44 Catalan Bistro Reviews

In town for a conference and wanted some wine and tapas. B44 truly hit the spot!!! Excellent bites and some great wine choices. We really enjoyed the environment and our server was top notch, she made great recommendations and kept our glasses full. B44 is high on my list of must visit places when I'm in town.

What a hidden gem! The food was spectacular. We did the tapas and started with potatoes bravas and a wonderfully fresh salad. Then moved on to the lamb skewers and tortilla Espinola. We enjoyed a bottle of champagne and ended with cream Catalan. Our meal was complimented by the friendliest most sincere waiter named Pedro who was attentive and professional. If we lived here would become regulars! Wonderful treat we found this amazing gem!!!

My husband and I had a 6:30 reservation, but we missed it as our prior engagement ran late. We got there an hour later and thankfully they had one table available; however, it was located outside the tent, in the middle of the alley lol. We felt like the step children, but we were famished so we took it. All staff was super friendly and accommodating. I had the B44 paella and my husband had the beef and chorizo burger. My paella was out of this world delicious! The rice was very well seasoned, lots of flavor and had shrimp, chicken, squid, mussels, peas, and green beans. They give you a generous portion. For dessert, I had the crema catalana which is similar to creme brulee - it was absolutely delectable! My husband also enjoyed his burger. The food more than made up for us sitting outside the tent. We will definitely return.

Lots of gluten free options and a delicious house made sangria! The brussel sprouts and the lamb skewers are divine!!! Love the atmosphere too!

The food was so wonderful! We had 2 different octopus dishes, lamb skewers and calamari. Pedro was out server at the bar. Super friendly and attentive.

My family joined me for my retirement dinner at 6pm on a Monday evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had no trouble hearing each other in conversation. The six of us shared 5 different tapas dishes and two salads from the Spanish side of the menu for starters. We each selected our own main dish from the French side of the menu, and we finished by sharing several plates of three different desserts. I had some or all of 11 different plates. Everything was wonderful, cooked and seasoned to perfection. We truly enjoyed our evening and our meal. We've been to B44 before, and undoubtedly we'll be there again. Highly recommended!

Loved this place! You can order from the Spanish inspired menu or the French menu of their sister restaurant. All dishes were great, though we found the french dishes edged out the Spanish as our faves. Staff was wonderful and atmosphere was delightful. All in all a great date night!

They offered the best paella I've ever tried! And the baby octopus and French onion soup were great too! The waiter and waitress were nice, however the experience could be better if the front desk lady got more smile on her face. But generally I'd rate 5 stars cuz the dishes were so good.
